FTU O2 Features

The FTU O2 is a pivot window offering a laminated inner pane with additional moisture resistance, coated with a white, easy to clean polyurethane varnish. The three coats of varnish and additional corner guards protect the wooden elements of the window. FTU – V P2 windows have a broad range of applications, in particular in rooms where there is high humidity, e.g. kitchens and bathrooms. FTU – V P2 windows are also installed in buildings where white, easy to maintain windows are specified e.g. hotels and hospitals.

Obscure Glazing is usually for privacy purposes, but also reduces solar heat gain. The O2 glazing is an obscure double glazed unit that comes with toughened outer pane and laminated inner pane for safety. The main purpose for obscure glass is to provide privacy to the room you’re in which makes this roof window perfect for bathrooms and bedrooms, but it also helps reduce solar heat gain.

FAKRO offer four internal style finishes with an elegant handle at the bottom for ease of operation. Centre pivot windows can be made in natural pine, white acrylic, white polyurethane and white UPVC finishes – this is entirely up to you! All of these windows are manufactured with a V40P air inlet which by automatic adjustment of the flow channel size provides an optimum amount of air into the room.

-Convenient way to use the window as the handle is located at the bottom of the sash. The handle is equipped with a two step micro-opening facilty.
-Easy cleaning of the outer pane and operating the awning blind with the use of blocking sash bolt when rotated through 180 degrees.
-A wide range of accessories which include both internal and external blinds. This window also has the ability to install electrical controls.
-Centre pivot windows come with a V40P automatic air inlet.
-Installation in roof pitches from 15 to 90 degrees.

Centre pivot roof windows are still the most popular design and all can be rotated through 180° to clean the outer pane from within the room.
